Cote’s has new store hours. Until the new owners take over at the end of January. They will then announce their hours. We will be closed Sunday and Monday and open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 to 5:00

We are making many changes at the store such as the new service dept. You can bring in machines to be tuned up, repaired etc. Ron will be starting repairs on the 31st. We have ordered a new supply of industrial needles, belts, bobbins etc. and we have reorganized all the industrial parts.
We still have some machines for sale such as the Bernina 730E, Bernina 640E, Bernina 950 industrial, Bernina 009 CHAINSTITCH/coverstitch, Bernina 700D serger, Brother top of the line 6000D Quattro and many used machines starting at $50. We will also have one Bernina 440 Aurora with BSR (Bernina stitch regulator)demo model that will be available the first week of January at a great price.

We just met with new prospective buyers and we have a handshake agreement for them to continue the business in the same location. Lisa and I are very excited to be able to tell you this and we will be working real hard to make it a smooth transition. They share the same traditional values that we do in being able to offer a full service sewing machine and fabric store with outstanding customer service. We are very pleased that quality people saw the value of what we have offered the community and will continue our tradition.

Natalie Simard will be a big part of their plans managing their new team. They will be focusing on education, customer service, and have many new ideas as well. The plan is to keep both the Bernina and Brother brands of sewing machines.

I will continue to do the service and warrantee of both brands and also will service all other brands of machines at the same location. I will also still service industrial machines.
Lisa will continue part time working the sales floor and teaching some classes allowing her to pursue her passion and sew at home.

We will continue our liquidation sale to allow us to sell some inventory and make way for new products and ideas from the new owners. EFFECTIVE NOW WE WILL GO TO 50% OFF ON MOST ITEMS EXCEPT SOFTWARE AND THREADS. We still have a good selection of sewing machines and we also restocked our Isacord threads.

This is all such good news for the sewing community and Lisa and I. The new owners are in hopes to continue this website and blog. Stay tuned for more updates right here as they happen.
